In 3 days AAP govt disinfected more than 80% assembly constituencies under Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive

To control the spread of COVID-19 the Aam Aadmi Party-led Delhi government has launched the Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive across Delhi by using Japanese machines. Under the Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive within 3 days, key streets of more than 80% of assembly constituencies have been covered and the drive will continue. All the Cabinet Ministers of Delhi and the AAP MLAs are leading this drive. Starting from Tuesday, April 15 till today the disinfection drive has covered 58 out of 70 assembly constituencies. Till date, the Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive has covered 35 Red Zones and 110 Orange zone Covered.
The Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive is being done through hi-tech Japanese technology. These machines are specifically built to spray disinfectants and are flexible enough to be used in narrow lanes as well. They can disinfect up to 20,000 sq metre area per hour. This machine is equipped to spray disinfectants and it’s also very flexible. Its length is adjustable, and can easily enter even narrow lanes. Farmers use similar machines to spray disinfectants in farms, he added. The chemical used in the disinfection drive was as per the WHO guidelines.
Last Sunday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced the disinfection drive with the help of PI Industries. The company has provided 10 machines for free. The Delhi Jal Board has 50 smaller machines, which will also be used in the disinfection drive.
MLA Mr Sanjeev Jha led the disinfection drive at his constituency Burari. “We have done sanitisation of all the markets and streets of Burari,” said Mr Jha.
After conducting the Mukhyamantri Delhi Sanitisation Drive at his constituency, Tilaknagar MLA Mr Jarnail Singh said, ” Sanitation was done in Ganesh Nagar and Mahavir Nagar through and I thank everyone who helped and participated in this drive.”
Dwarka MLA Mr Vinay Mishra said, “We have conducted successful sanitization in my constituency and the people are very happy about it.”
MLA Mr Dilip Pandey led the sanitisation drive at his Timarpur assembly constituency. MLA Mrs MLA Rajkumari Dhillon led the sanitisation drive at her Harinagar constituency and Cabinet Minister Mr Kailash Gahlot led the sanitization drive at his Najafgarh constituency.
Dy CM Mr Manish Sisodia led the drive at Patparganj constituency. “Launched a disinfection drive in Mayur Vihar Ph2 to tackle #Covid2019. 60 machines (incl 10 hi-tech Japanese ones for the first time in India) have been deployed across Delhi for this. Patparganj will be sanitised completely over the next few days. #DelhiFightsCorona,” he had tweeted.
The AAP MLAs, ministers and the Delhi government are making all-round effort to tackle the outbreak. In order to control the COVID-19 outbreak in the national capital, the authorities in Delhi are monitoring the houses in containment zones and are making people were made aware about the signs and symptoms of the infection, methods of prevention, social distancing measures, the importance of hand-washing.
