EPFO SSA Typing Skill Test 2023
Candidates can choose to take the Typing Test in either English or Hindi. The default language is English. If a candidate prefers Hindi, they must inform the Examination Center during the exam, and the language will be adjusted accordingly. Once the language is chosen, it cannot be changed. Candidates will be given a passage for the English/Hindi Type Test, with 10 minutes to type on a computer. The goal is to assess typing speed at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. (These rates correspond to 10500 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) / 9000 KDPH, based on an average of 5 key depressions for each word in Data Entry Work.) PwBD candidates eligible for a scribe will have 15 minutes to complete the passage.
